Founded in 1970, the Ventura County Handweavers & Spinners Guild is an all volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the education and promotion of fiber arts, with a focus on weaving and spinning. With an active group approaching 80 members, the guild participates in community events and sponsors a variety of educational programs and workshops in a broad range of textile-related crafts. A fiber-related program is presented at each meeting often with a workshop continuing through the afternoon.
MEETING DETAILS:
Guild Meeting are held on the the 4th Saturday of each month at the Camarillo Senior Center.

Visitors and new members are always welcome - the morning program is free.
As a member of the guild, you will have access to all meetings and events.
Rancho Days at Olivas Adobe, 4200 Olivas Park Drive,
Ventura, Sunday, September 14, 2025, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. We
will be demonstrating in the inner courtyard behind the
house. Shade will be provided. Food will be available. This
will be an interactive hands-on demonstration of hand-
carding, drop-spindles, or weaving for children. Bring chair
and rug or blanket to put your wheel on. It will be dusty.
Tables will be available for looms. Signups for
demonstrating spinning, weaving, or carding will be taken
during the August, and September meetings. Contact Rose

Spinners & Weavers needed to demonstrate at the Reyes Adobe
Days at Historic Reyes Adobe, 5464 Reyes Adobe Road, Agoura
Hills, Saturday & Sunday, October 5-6, 2025, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. This is
the 20 th Anniversary so special events are planned. We will be
located under the gazebo next to the historic Reyes Adobe House.
The parade on Saturday is at 10 a.m. so plan on setting up before 9
a.m. You can park on the street by the park or by Cindy Hawn’s
house in Agoura. You can sell items if you wish. Bring chair and rug
or blanket to put your wheel on. Tables will be available for looms
and to display items. Signups will be taken during the August &
